Shane Coughlan met with the Director, Business Support Manage, Open Source Centre Manager and Innovation Advisor of Northern Ireland’s Southern Regional College as well as local business representatives to discuss FOSS trends and practical engagement.

Educational establishments and businesses in Northern Ireland are developing plans for economic regeneration and innovation.  Information Technology and FOSS in particular are regarded as central to this strategy.  Opendawn helped the stakeholders bridge the gap between goals and real world implementation.
